On October 5, Baltimore City Council President Stephanie Rawlings-Blake made history by introducing legislation requiring Crisis Pregnancy Centers (CPCs) to disclose that they do not provide or refer for birth control or abortion.

Our campaign is getting noticed! But now our anti-choice opponents are launching an aggressive campaign to block this legislation by flooding the city council with letters and phone calls.

We need to make sure the City Council knows that you support this landmark legislation!

Our research shows that CPCs - also known as pregnancy resource centers - often have a strong anti-choice agenda and dissuade women from exploring the full range of their reproductive health options including abortion or using birth control. Women facing unintended pregnancies deserve honest, accurate information about their health care options.

This is first time local legislation has been proposed to fight the harmful practices of CPCs. The first hearing on this bill is Tuesday, October 27 and we need your help now to ensure it passes.
